Are You Saved

Exodus 20 NKJV

7“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

Matthew 7 NKJV

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Jeremiah 17 NVJV

“The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
10 I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings.

Matthew 7 NKJV

16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Matthew 15 NKJV

‘These people [c]draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.

Luke 13

24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ 26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ 27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’

Luke 13

I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

2 Corinthians 13

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

Bad Company

1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV)

33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

Psalm 1 (NIV)

1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked

or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—

whatever they do prospers.

Proverbs 4:14-17 (NIV)

14 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked
or walk in the way of evildoers.
15 Avoid it, do not travel on it;
turn from it and go on your way.
16 For they cannot rest until they do evil;
they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble.
17 They eat the bread of wickedness
and drink the wine of violence.

Exodus 23:32-33 (NIV)

32 Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. 33 Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”

2 Corinthians 6:14-18  (NIV)

14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”

17 Therefore,“Come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”

18 And,“I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.”

Do Not Be Deceived

Revelation

13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,

Philippians 4:8-9

Meditate on These Things

Philippians 4:8-9

8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Action of Faith

focus on God’s wonders

As I write this morning I have to think about the beauty of God’s creation and enjoy the things that are seen. It’s a beautiful morning just at the beginning of Spring the hills are green , but blue skies and white puffy clouds what a beautiful picture is window that we look through into the world, how often do we recognize God’s Mighty hand in the world about us that we see in his creation the Masterpiece of the beauty that man can only attempt to imitate on canvas do we recognize him and give him thanks and praise for the beautiful days, I look out the front window and I see the dog laying on the hillside just off the porch and I have to smile and laugh and praise God that big beautiful doofus That says upon his chosen throne for the day I look at his gracious Beauty cuz Majestic stature and enjoy his character and I have to praise God for that cat. the horses are eating as if they don’t have a care in the world God’s Mighty creation, each one of them different from the other, not one alike and character stature color Each one of them a gift from God and I thank him for those.

I have to think back at the night before as we had Fellowship Bible study and prayer, just the opportunity alone to get together and fellowship and speak of his word and reach our hands up in prayer to him as he breaks through the strongholds trying to handle us and our progress of Prayer has he breaks me through the threshold of the debilitating pain that was trying to stop me for having focus on the Lord and receiving the Holy Spirit so I can pair have to thank him. are these are things that we think about The things of the world that wants to become a stronghold on us to keep us from enjoying the grace and the glory of God in the presence of him in our lives. Do we look at his creation, do we thank him for giving us His son Jesus Christ and thank do we slow down to listen to the Holy Spirit and thank Him? do we seek his face, can we spend the time to knowing him or are we distracted by the ways from the enemy? remember what it says in Philippians 4:6-9

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-9 NKJV

God does not want us to be full of anxiety he says that he is a God of Peace he’s not a god of confusion he is a holy in one and only creator for the beauty in the world that we see and people and animals and landscapes. Do we take time the focus on what is true the Gospel of Jesus Christ what is a memorable the sacrifice of Jesus Christ what is just God’s Mighty hand what is pure God’s pure creation What is lovely the world about us things are good report the work of the Holy Spirit, God’s Mighty power for salvation, for healing, Deliverance . do we look through the virtue of Jesus Christ do we focus on the praiseworthy miracles of God, do we think about his praiseworthy love.

Effective Prayer

                                                   Effective Prayer

Keep Asking, Seeking and  Knocking

Matthew 7:7-11

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

SEEK The Strong’s definition = made efforts, kept trying to obtain

The Parable of the Lost Coin

What kind of effort did the woman make to find the Coin.

The Parable of the Lost Coin

Luke 15:8-9 (NKJV)

8 “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’

Luke 15:10 (NKJV)

Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

This Parable speaks to us as of the manner in which God seeks the Lost who are in need of repentance.

should we not imitate God and seek him in the same manner that he seeks us with diligence Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these

things shall be added to you.

God want us to seek him

Deuteronomy 4:29 (NKJV)

But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Psalm 27:7-8 (NKJV)

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice!Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When You said, “Seek My face,”My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek”

And God Sayed

Proverbs 8:17 (NKJV)

I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

Isaiah 45:22

“Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

Not Lose Heart

Luke 18:1-8  The Parable of the Persistent Widow

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,

2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’” 6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Persevere in prayer

Daniel fasted for 3 weeks while waiting to hear from The Lord. He did not eat any pleasant food he did not eat meat and did not drink any wine Nor did he anoint himself Fasting and prayer go hand in hand

Now we seeing Daniel 12 through 14 that there was opposition to the answer Daniels prayer

Daniel 10:12-14

Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for, from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come.”

Have Confidence in Prayer

1 John 5:14-15

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Do not Pray in Vain

Matthew 6:7

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Romans 8:27

Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is,because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

God Knows your Need

Matthew 6:8

“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. Ecclesiastes 5:2 Do not be rash with your mouth, And let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in heaven, and you on earth; Therefore let your words be few.

Matthew 18:19-20

19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Have Faith Do Not Doubt

Matthew 21:21-22 (NKJV)

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

James 1:6 New King  (NKJV)

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

Be anxious for nothing Be Thankful

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Faith is your rear view mirror

David had great faith in the lord, we see this clearly in 1 Samuel 17:37 Moreover David said the Lord who delivered me from the paws of the line in the paws of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this philistine: David had look back to his pass and gave God the glory for his salvation from The Lion and the Bear ( see 1 Samuel 17:34-35)And held it true to his heart and had great faith from it.

Let us not be like the Israelites who have failed to see God’s good works behind them in numbers 14 Has he brought them out of Egypt to the promised land. they saw what was in front of them not seeing what God did behind them, the enemy used their blindness against them and took away the faith and courage. In Numbers 13:-32 By receiving a bad report And not holding on to their faith they lost the gift that God had waiting for them they had to wait on it till the next Generation due to a lack of faith ( numbers 14:22-24) 40 years in the wilderness Famous spend.

Now David, on the other hand, had a different heart and chose to see the good of God in his past and had great faith and courage so great that he ran towards Danger (See first 1 Samuel 17:48) and triumphant over the Philistine Giant and added to his own faith in the Lord. David had stepped out faith.

How important is your faith?

Matthew 21:22   whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
