Building a good relationship with your horse, it takes a fundamental Foundation to build a good relationship with your horse, you cannot enjoy the good pleasures of a ride without having a solid foundation to work upon, in the same manner, we cannot have the good pleasures of a foundation with God unless we have a firm foundation to build upon . let’s take a look at what Jesus says when asked what is the greatest commandment As it says in Mark 12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment.

Mark 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

You notice that the first that appears that you shall love your God with all your heart all your soul and with all your mind and all your strength, This precedes love your neighbor as you love yourself. for you cannot truly  love your neighbor as yourself Until you learn to love your Lord thy God, you know this here it says you shall love your Lord thy God with all your, let’s look at the word all  this means everything, not just a little bit not just part time, put all everything that is within you ,that’s why this vers ends with the word strength for it takes strength work and effort And commitment to continue your relationship with God, Not works of deeds but works a faithfulness. I’ll have you know those two Mark 12:31 it does not use the word all or strength, what does this tell us: it tells us that if we love your Lord the God he will give us the provision to love our neighbor as ourselves.

James 2:18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

Works such as loving Thy Neighbor as a result of our faith a result of the relationship that we have built with God by loving him with all without him there is no works just law. Show me see here 1 comes before the other love thy Lord thy God comes before love thy neighbor as thyself faith columns before works.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

So you ask what does this have to do with the relationship with our horse, Foundation is the answer Foundation comes before good pleasure good ride obedience. groundwork is The First Fundamental Foundation you need on your horse when you have that solid foundation of trust faithfulness and loyalty on the ground that foundation will move to the saddle.                       every horse that comes in for training no matter what training has been put on the horse and how long it’s been under saddle I always go back to groundwork to build or rebuild or correct the fundamental foundations. When I stumbled and fell in my walk with Christ, I did not just get back in the saddle where I was, I went back to the teaching of the word. listen, studied and learn to correct my fundamental foundation in Christ, swallowing my pride and not leaning on my own understanding Recognizing that I missed something and foundational teachings of Christ. It was through those holes in the foundation that my stubble came, resulting in total Destruction of the life that I had built, So let’s not have holes in her foundation with Christ and let’s not have holes in the foundation with our horses and enjoy the good pleasures that God has given us. If we start Bucking in the saddle and being rebellious God will correct us take us back to the fundamentals of groundwork for his good pleasure and Ours, So praise God when he takes you back to the phone none was around work and disciplines you 4 says in Hebrews 12:5 my son do not despise the chastening of the Lord for the Lord chastens whom he loves.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

I was asked 1 day how long do I spend training my personal horses I said a lifetime, every time I hook at leave line to a horse every time I step into a saddle I add something new and refresh something old. like it says in Philippians 6:1 for He Who begins a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ Jesus. we are always in training we are always learning, as long as we are in God’s Arena it is his good pleasure to teach us and the draws near to perfection.

Matthew 6:33-34

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
